INDEPENDENT DEMONSTRATOR, ROXANNE HERMAN
My Gold Canyon Story

Simply stated … I love candles. Ever since I can remember, I love the way a candle can change your mood, bring back a memory or even just create warmth in your favorite room. So being the candle addict I am, I’ve tried just about every scented candle out there.

Then one Saturday I went to a Craft Show and found Gold Canyon Candles! I was really impressed with their long-lasting fragrance and I couldn’t believe how many different fragrances were available! I signed up as a demonstrator within a few weeks after trying Gold Canyon and now I love introducing people to Gold Canyon candles - once they try them they're hooked!

I attended the 2007 Gold Canyon Convention in Phoenix, Arizona, where I met wonderful people and learned more about how much Gold Canyon cares about families, especially children.

Interesting New Study About Paraffin Wax

POSTED JUNE 10, 2008
Does soy wax burn cleaner than paraffin wax? Should I be concerned about the effects of burning candles in my home? You’ve probably heard these questions a time or two! Well, the results of a recent study regarding wax and emissions are in and they clearly show that there are no appreciable differences between synthetic waxes, like the paraffin-based wax used in Gold Canyon candles, and natural waxes like soy or beeswax. Additionally, this study also puts to rest any concerns people may have about burning candles in the home.

Described as “the most extensive and rigorous scientific investigation of candle emissions to date”, this study found that “well-made candles of all major wax types exhibit the same clean burning behavior, and pose no discernable risks to human health or indoor air quality”.
